Helping your kid become EXTRAordinary

5 Year Vision For My Child

“Fully confident in who she is- an accurate, positive self image where she does not get insecure on the inside because of who others are or want her to be. She knows her strengths and is doing things that align with them.

I see her successful in college, maybe sports, maybe not. She is taking more risks and not afraid to fail. I see her as a very hardworking person but not to the point of perfectionism- she has a good grasp of what matters most in life and realizes it is not her grades or status academically. She understands process over outcome. She is no longer a follower but a courageous leader -- people are now seeing that because she lives her life differently, she gets better results and therefore they want to follow her lead.”

Everything starts with a vision. You cannot be what you cannot see and you certainly cannot help another person become something they cannot see. They need a role model and/or someone who will consistently speak clear vision into his or her life.

Write down your vision for your son(s) or daughter(s).

Be as clear as possible and write as much as you want.

1 year, 3 years, 5, 10...it is up to you the time frames. Do this as many times as you want to.

Then, start living into that vision.

Put them in places, programs, and with people who are going to do whatever it takes to help your child achieve that vision. Time is our most precious commodity- do not waste it on shortsighted things that do not support the vision.

Because after the vision is set, you’ll need to write down the intentions and objectives. How are you going to help them get there?

Your child can become anything. They can overcome anything. They do not need to wait until someone else tells them they are ready to start becoming extraordinary. It starts today.

They just need vision spoke into them, constant encouragement, and to be challenged and held accountable when they are off course.

What are you waiting for, write down that vision!

Dedicated to your child’s success in sport and life,
