Nelson Schwartz, Frederick February Warrior of The Month

"I would like to start off by thanking my wife Sarah and daughter Evie, without them my journey getting to PFP would have never happened. In 2021, I had a doctor appointment and my blood pressure was 150/101. My doctor told me I really needed to make changes to my life and that I needed to exercise. I was working 15-17 hr days at the time. Changing my diet was just not going to be enough. I was resistant to waking up in the morning to work out. I've never been that person my entire life. The hardest part of my day had always been the first 10 minutes in the morning- getting out of bed.

July 2021 my wife found PFP for me and my daughter. My first impression of PFP was awesome! The entire staff knew our names and this was very welcoming. I originally started coming Saturday mornings only for over a year. Work started slowing up for me so I felt I could start coming twice a week; one day during the week and Saturday. I started feeling results when coming twice a week. It felt great. The whole staff encouraged me along the way. The atmosphere at PFP is so motivating! It doesn't get any better.

Late 2023 I received the motivation to come join the 6am Boot Camp class. I was very nervous because this would require me to challenge myself to the one thing in my entire life I have not been able to conquer.

Besides waking up 5 times the night before I was to attend my first 6am boot camp class in fear I would not hear my alarm clock, it has been awesome!

I made the decision to live for my wife and daughter. I have a responsibility to put the work in at PFP so I can be around for them as long as possible on this earth. My blood pressure is down to 124/78 and all of my labs are in the healthy range again.

I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life and I owe this all to my wife, daughter, and the PFP staff." - Nelson
