We tend to get whatever our standards are.
Most people unspoken standards over summer are to gain 5 to 10 pounds, get off track with their workouts, and drastically reduce their energy and vitality because of what they eat and drink. It's a pattern and a vicious cycle, and it's time to break it.
Now, I am all about having a good time over summer-- but not at the expense of the things that matter most in life- your health, your mindset, your confidence, and your energy.
Last summer Chris decided to raise his standards. we continue to work out three days a week, but more importantly he kept his coach who gave him accountability and someone that he needed to report back to you. During his three separate weeklong vacation, Chris received workouts from his coach that he could do with his kids and wife while he was away.
He definitely ate and drank more unhealthy things that he typically does, but he did what he needed to do in order to make progress over summer rather than regress.
What will your standards be this summer?
